SUSS partners with established academic institutions from around the world to offer a wide range of full-time and part-time academic programmes and to provide rich learning experiences for students.
Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) was founded in 1960 and affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (now the Ministry of Commerce) until September 1994, since when it has been under the administration of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. SUIBE is the Chair-holder of the WTO Chairs Program (WCP), a member of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Virtual Institute (UNCTAD VI), and a member of the Asia-Pacific Research and Training Network on Trade (ARTNeT) of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). On 1 November 2020, SUIBE and SUSS formally entered into an MOU to enhance and facilitate the valuable partnership for further inter-academic exchanges and collaborations in graduate degree programmes.
